What organizations can post on Newton’s List?
All organizations that provide funding opportunities for international research collaboration are eligible to post and link their opportunities on Newton’s List. This includes, but is not limited to: research grants, post-doc fellowships, scholarships, and travel grants. Please note that for the purposes of Newton’s List, “international collaboration” must involve two or more countries. For instance, if a funding organization in the United Kingdom is offering a research grant open to scientists in the U.S. then that would be appropriate for the site. A U.S. university posting an opportunity open to only U.S. researchers would not be appropriate; nor would a scholarship for a semester study abroad if there is no research component to it. Newton's List staff reserve the right to decline postings that are not in line with its stated mission and objectives.
How much does it cost to post an opportunity on Newton’s List?
Newton’s list is a completely free resource for funding organizations and other interested users to post collaborative international research opportunities.

My opportunity does not have a deadline because applications are accepted on a rolling basis. What should I do?
If your opportunity does not have a specific deadline or accepts applications on a rolling basis, please check the box underneath the "Deadline" field that reads "This opportunity has a rolling deadline." Such entries will be allowed to remain on the site for one year from the date it is approved. After one year, the post will be removed automatically. Opportunities that will continue past the one-year mark should be resubmitted upon expiration.
I received an error message after clicking "Submit." Why did this happen?
First, please ensure that all required fields (those marked with an asterisk *) have been completed.
If you still receive an error message upon submitting it may be because of the way in which text was entered into the "Description" field. The text editor may sometimes experience problems if information is cut/pasted from a website or Word document. Please close your browser, and re-open a new browser window with Newton's List. When you are back at the "Post a Funding Opportunities" page, we recommend copying text from a .txt or .rtf file to ensure proper submission.
